Rings given the name “Eternal”. Following the colours
around the 12 surfaces of beautiful gradations of
Tokyo Cloisonneware hues certainly seems
to draw you into an eternal loop.
These pieces were brought to you by Mr. Hatakeyama,
who is highly skilled in Tokyo Cloisonneware.
In order to express 12 colours in delicate gradations
on the circumference of the rings,
they were separately glazed and fired for each colour.
The polishing for each colour was also carried out separately,
and was particularly difficult for narrow rings.
The gradation colours are all magnificent shades of yellow,
blue, and grey, while shades of pink and green add a sense of
gorgeousness to the rings.
The rings come in three widths: 4, 8, and 12 mm.
A narrow ring and a wider ring in the same color
can be used as pair rings,
and there is certainly romance in the name “Eternal”.
You could also enjoy layered colour combinations
with the narrow rings.
The design was supervised by Mr. Stephane Parmentier,
while Ms. Emi Sawano worked as designer.
