Little kiriko cut glass

22 Edo Kiriko (Cut Glassware)

Accessories made of glass fragments

This is an up-cycled accessory made of the glass fragments produced when glass is cut.
These pieces are a prime example of traditional Edo kiriko technique, where colored glass is placed on top of highly transparent crystal glass, and patterns carved into it. Because it appears to sway ever-so-slightly in the play of the light, it is known as “little kiriko.” Choose your favorites from our array of gorgeous colors.
