The four members of Team Embroidery Tokyo, led by a veteran of Edo embroidery with a career going back more than 35 years, are all artisans involved in the same style of embroidery. Launched in 2025, their goal is to pass the techniques of traditional Edo embroidery to the next generation and spread its appeal throughout Japan and the world.

Team Embroidery Tokyo, an embroidery workshop that has passed down the traditional techniques of Edo embroidery to the present day. A member of the Tokyo Embroidery Cooperative Association, they work on a wide range of items, including sashes, kimonos, and accessories, led by a veteran artisan. While fewer people wear kimonos these days, the Team does not compromise their traditional methods in the slightest, creating numerous products unique to Edo embroidery as they continue to pass on its delicate beauty and the value of hand crafting. Their current offering is the Hitoito, pendant necklace, which brings together all their skills in one item.
