TANZAKU hand-woven jewelry was developed based on the motif of the tanzaku, the strips of paper used to write wishes on in the Tanabata Festival. Within the tanzaku-shaped parts of each item is arrow-feather braiding inspired by the arrows that pierce a wish. A variety of jewelry created through the fusion of the latest casting technology with the traditional techniques of wire drawing, hand weaving, soldering, and hinges. The bracelet is designed to both look impressive and have a clasp that is easy to use. The collection also includes rings, earrings, and pendants designed around a single tanzaku element.
