TOKYO Teshigoto
STORY 63

It would be a waste of talent if used only for dolls

A barrette created by the “skills of embedding”,
which is used when making the dolls wearing traditional Japanese costumes.
It is created by the “Mataro Doll”, an established workshop
for the Edo embedded dolls.
It is made from elegant fabrics with gold and silver threads,
and it also matches when you are dressed in European style.
It is a hair accessory with a motif of a ribbon,
where the Japanese beauty is expressed in the form of a barrette.
