To play with lacquer?!

Lacquerwork has among its traditional applications protection in architecture, wooden tableware and Japanese instruments.
But these beer cups were achieved through lacquer applied to ceramics.
A new departure, the cups leave behind the fixed image of lacquer as something applied to wood, and have individual designs achieved by a craftsman onto their ceramic surface.
The gentle colours and feel, leave a sense of satisfaction with those who take them in their hand.
