A “heat haze” in cut glass

A departure from the traditional geometric patterns of Edo Kiriko,
a soft wavering form burns on the cold surface of glass.
It is the curved lines of a flame that climb from the base of the object.
This new star in the world of Edo Kiriko, displays lines of gradation on glass,
and brings fresh initiative to traditional cut styles.
